AMENDED CHED COOP BY-LAWS
Finally, the CHED Cooperative has submitted to Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) the Amended By-Laws. Highlights of the amendments are the following: the contractual employees may now become a member as an associate member, the number of Board of Directors are now reduced from fifteen (15) to nine (9), while for the Committees from a group of five, it is now decreased to three (3).
ANNOUNCEMENT: Upcoming Schedule of the 3rd General Assembly
The general assembly is tentatively scheduled on March 23, 2012. Also election for the two (2) vacant Board of Directors and four (4) committees will be conducted on that day.

Newly Elected Board of Directors
CHED Chairman Patricia B. Licuanan officiated the Oath of Office of the seven (7) newly elected Board of Directors during flag ceremony on April 4, 2011.

CHED Cooperative 2nd General Assembly
The CHED Cooperative successfully held its 2nd General Assembly with the theme “Building the Capacity to Support CHED Employees and Moving Towards a Brighter Future Through the Cooperative” on March 25, 2011 at the CHED Auditorium. This was actively participated by its members from the different CHED Offices. Chairman Libertad P. Garcia highlighted on the CHED Cooperatives' Accomplishment, while, Ms. Mirriam V. Miranda, Treasurer, detailed on the financial reports.
The Election Committee as headed by Chairman Josephine D. Antonio, peacefully conducted the election for the vacant positions of seven (7) board of directors, canvassed the votes and announced the winners as well.
